We're educated and equipped to treat you and your pain
‘An unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage or described in terms of such damage’ – Definition of pain by the International Association for the Study of Pain.
Persistent or chronic pain is a label that can be given to pain that lasts longer than three months. One of the key aspects of persistent pain is that it is no longer just a symptom of a pathology or injury process. The longer pain persists, the more complex it becomes in its construction, with careful attention to the initial tissue damage alongside the effects on the entire system.
Persistent pain is a complex entity
Persistent pain is a complex entity that results from the collaboration and competition of information from a multitude of sources. It is important that we address these interrelated stimuli and work towards specific goals.

Fiona from Target Physio has been helping me since 2007. and she has helped me overcome large obstacles in my life. From nearly never being able to walk again to now playing every sport under the sun, largely due to Fiona's influence and ongoing support. She helped me regain my confidence to overcome my injuries. I have continued to see her since. I also had another physio called Kit for a few weeks, who helped me recover from a minor head injury. The reception team always have a smile on their face even on mondays. The team at target physio are dedicated in helping people to achieve their best. Would highly recommend.
