Meet Local Exercise Physiologist Robyn Paterson

Robyn Paterson
Robyn is an Exercise Physiologist with a lifelong love of movement, beginning in the dance studio at age two and evolving into a career grounded in evidence‑based rehabilitation. With seven years of experience as a certified Pilates instructor, she brings a sharp eye for movement quality, breath mechanics, and tailored exercise prescription to her clinical practice.
She works across the full scope of Exercise Physiology, from comprehensive functional assessment through to late‑stage rehabilitation, supporting clients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic health conditions. Robyn is passionate about helping people feel capable in their bodies, whether she’s progressing strength programs, guiding behaviour change to achieve health goals, or integrating Pilates principles into rehabilitation.
Her background in allied health administration and multidisciplinary settings has shaped her into a collaborative, organised, and adaptable clinician who values clear communication and patient‑centred care. Robyn’s approach blends technical skill with genuine connection, empowering clients to move with confidence and participate fully in the moments that matter most.
Robyn treats patients with the following dysfunctions and injuries:
Robyn believes in living the same principles she preaches — moving often, eating well, laughing loudly, and giving herself every opportunity to participate fully in life.
A long‑time lover of travel, good food, and a great glass of wine, she’s equally at home exploring new places as she is shouting encouragement from the sidelines of her son’s many, many sporting endeavours.
Balance is her non‑negotiable: she prioritises her own health and fitness not out of perfectionism, but because it helps her show up as her best self for her clients, her family, and her community.
Robyn can help provide you with the knowledge, skills and movement to maintain your ultimate lifestyle and achieve your goals.
