Meet Local Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor Gabrielle Cole
Gabby is the latest addition to the Target Physio Clinical Team, bringing her deep passion for Women’s Health. Gabby has completed further training in Women’s Health, having accomplished her Level 1 course and is currently half way through her ‘Women’s Health Through the Life Stages’ course. She’s also currently completing her training in Reformer Pilates to add to her already completed training in Mat Work Pilates. Gabby’s desire as a Physiotherapist is to keep women, of all ages, healthy, active and pain free. Watch this space for ‘Mums & Bubs’ classes coming soon.
A keen runner herself, Gabby has completed a number of half marathons – a passion which in addition to being a soccer player, found herself as a Physiotherapy patient a few times as a youngster. The ability to help someone overcome pain, rehabilitate their injury and get them back to doing what they love sparked her interest in becoming a Physiotherapist. Additionally, Gabby has completed further professional development training in running assessments and injuries.
Previously, Gabby worked in Private Practices in South East Queensland treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She’s also been trained in ‘Watson Headache techniques’ to treat headaches and migraines. Ultimately, Gabby loves helping people, from kids to older adults, get back to doing what they love – whether that be returning to Auskick or gardening again.
Gabby treats patients with the following dysfunctions and injuries:
Outside of work, Gabby continues to enjoy running and going for walks with her dogs and husband. She’s also taken up Pilates which has added another clinical pursuit to her repertoire. Gabby enjoys mixing up her fitness routine with gym workouts as well – you might see her at a few local gyms! Once the post-pandemic time hits, Gabby and her husband are keen to start venturing on travel trips again.
