Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Eve Edwards has developed a group exercise program designed to rehabilitate back pain and injury in a safe and controlled small ground environment.

Eve has extensive experience in treating spinal injury and pain and is passionate about helping those suffering from persistent back pain rehabilitate back to function and life. Eve is a qualified Pilates Instructor and Strength and Conditioning Coach, skills which she combines with her knowledge and education of the human body and pain science along to develop this program.

Pre-class assessments are essential for Eve to gain an understanding of your back pain and its history. During this assessment, Eve will be able to determine what is best for you; what modifications need to be made during class to ensure you feel comfortable and safe in our space.

Classes are capped to a maximum of five to allow for Eve to tailor the class to specific needs of the participants.

What should I expect in a class?

Classes comprise of low intensity exercise, focusing on postural stabilisation, core control, pelvic stability and global strength.

What if I want to start the program but don’t feel I’m ready for exercise yet?

This is the beauty of a pre-class assessment consultation. In your assessment, Eve will take you through a number of exercises,  functional tests and ask you to complete a few outcome measure questionnaires to establish where you’re currently at. From here, Eve will discuss what option is best for you, which could be joining the class, joining the class with modifications or purely working one-on-one with Eve to start a home exercise program tailored to your specific condition. Eve is here to help improve your back pain and return your quality of life!

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Not at all! However, if you have any correspondence from your doctor please bring this to your pre-class assessment for Eve.
