Exercise right week is public awareness campaign to inspire and empower people to live more active, healthier lives.
This year’s theme is ‘Exercise for the Right Reasons’. Target Physio is supporting Exercise Right week to educate, encourage and empower people of all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels to find an exercise or activity they love and reep the health benefits from it.
Unfortunately, when we think of exercise we often think of losing weight or the old bathroom scales. However, whilst exercise is a tool from the weightloss toolkit, it shouldn’t solely be seen as something ‘just for weightloss’.
Exercise benefits your entire being by improving:
- Bone Health (bone density & strength)
- Heart Health
- Mental Health
- Cardiovascular System
- Blood Glucose Regulation
- Muscular Health
- Tendon & Ligament Health
- Social Health & Feeling of Belonging
- Balance
- Energy Levels!
Target Physio will be hosting a variety of in-person and online free exercise events during Exercise Right week this year (May 23rd – 29th 2022), to join us click the link to the Facebook event and click ‘Going’.
