Our Response to the Covid-19 Circumstances
The Target Physio team has implemented a variety of protocols to help stop the spread of Covid-19 and provide you with a safe and sterile space to receive treatment.
As primary health care workers, we will continue our contribution to the community as first contact practitioners.
We will continue to alleviate the health system and decongest emergency departments by providing a safe space for all musculoskeletal injuries and pains to receive diagnosis and treatment.
If you’re unable to come to the clinic, we have Online Consultations available via video to continue your treatment from home.
  • All towels and pillows for comfort have been removed from beds
  • Each handwashing basin has single-use hand towels available
  • We have a washing machine on-site to wash these hand towels and enable reusability (also making the environment smile)
  • Hand sanitiser is available at both reception desks, we encourage you to use this on your arrival and departure
  • “Windscreens” have been installed on our reception desks to protect our reception team. Please stand behind the windscreens when speaking to our reception team.
  • Our admin team are wiping the reception desk countertop, chairs, pens, Hicaps machine immediately before you arrive and after you leave
  • Everything is being cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant
  • We have an outside reception area, however we appreciate Queensland’s weather – please note the outside reception area is an option only and is not mandatory. We don’t want you overheating!
  • External check-in option is available for you: when you arrive, check-in from your car and we’ll come escort you to our outside reception area or feel free to wait in your car. Please note this is not mandatory and you do not have to swelter outside, you’re welcome to wait inside if you’re comfortable to.
  • Clients who are unwell or are in quarantine please refrain from the clinics. For symptoms of Coronavirus click here
  • If you are self-isolating or in directed quarantine but feel well, we offer Online Consultations, for more info, click here
  • To protect our admin team and reduce the handling of cash, we are no longer accepting cash payments. We have a Hicaps terminal for Credit Card, Eftpos and Pay wave.
If you are unsure of the cleanliness of anything, please ask your practitioner or our admin team to re-clean something.
