You may think that exercising with a lung condition is formidable, but it is imperative in the management of your lung condition. During and after exercise, it keeps the lungs healthy because your heart and lungs work harder together to supply more oxygen that your muscles demand.
Therefore, when your body becomes more efficient at delivering more oxygen to your muscles, this in turn will increase your fitness and decrease symptoms of breathlessness. An Accredited Exercise Physiologist can deliver exercises designed to strengthen the muscles of the neck, chest, diaphragm and muscles between the ribs which all work together to help you to improve your breathing.
